What does aspiration mean to me?
Aspiration is more than simply having a goal. It is the ambition to grow, develop new skills , and continuously work towards something meaningful. It reflects the direction you choose to take and the determination to keep improving along the way. For me, aspiration is about turning my passion and love of photography and storytelling into a lifelong career. It motivates me to challenge myself creatively, learn from every opportunity and continue developing my skills. I think there is always an important yet beautiful balance of being present in a current moment, while also looking over the horizon to the next big chapter in your story. To me, photography has always been more than simply taking a photo. It's an opportunity to tell stories, capture moments and offer another perspective. The sections below explore my current aspirations, the progress I am making towards them, and the longterm goals that continue to motivate me.
My current career aspirations
My current aspiration is to build a career within the Tv and Film industries, where I can combine my passion of photography with my love of visual storytelling. I am particularly interested in working as a stills photographer, capturing the moments that define a production both on and off screen. Being able to play a role in helping shape the visual identity and emotional impact of a production is something I find particularly inspiring. One of the aspects of working in tv and film that appeals to me most is the collaborative nature of the industry. Every production relies on people with different skills, experiences and creative perspectives working together towards a shared vision. No matter what department, each member of the team plays a part in bringing the story to life. I really enjoy this approach and strive to be the person encouraging others to develop their skills and become the best versions of themselves. I recognise that achieving such ambitions will require dedication, continuous learning and practical experience. For these reasons, I am always open to any and all opportunities that will help me take a step closer to these dreams.
